My current research focuses on experiences of addiction, substance use, and alcoholism in the transgender community. I seek to understand barriers that trans/gender-expansive individuals face in seeking treatment and recovery for substance use. I am also interested in disability and feminist theory, and specifically the application of critical disability theory within sociology.
