Story Edison is a Ph.D. Student of Sociology at The Ohio State University whose research focuses on the experience of incarceration, social network methods, and community contexts as they relate to crime prevention and policing. Specifically, she is involved with multiple papers pertaining to prison social networks, the mental health and integration of incarcerated women, prison power dynamics, and victimization while in prison. Further, she is currently researching the relationships between neighborhood contextual factors and police violence against civilians.
