Majors
Beginning autumn 2019, the Department of Sociology will offer a Bachelor of Science degree option, providing substantive focus areas in one of three tracks—Population Dynamics and Wellness; Criminology, Law and Society; and Social Inequality.
The Bachelor of Science curriculum requires coursework in research methods, statistics, theory, and a set of highly focused electives. Rigorous methodological training and additional research-focused requirements give students expanded opportunities to engage in research and data analysis.
