My research interests focus on various aspects of reentry from incarceration. Specific areas I have worked on previously include pre-release education while incarcerated, community reentry organizations and public participation after release. These interests all feed into one question- what can be done to increase desistance in the United States? Other interests include policing, race and crime, and informal social controls.
