Danielle Schoon CV [PDF]
Danielle is a cultural anthropologist with research and publications on migration, performance, and the politics of identity in contemporary Turkey. She has been a Lecturer at OSU since 2015, teaching in multiple departments along with Sociology, including NESA, Dance, Political Science, FRIT, and others. She is currently also a COIL Fellow in the Office of International Affairs. Danielle frequently takes advantage of professional development opportunities to improve her teaching and is an advocate of active learning and community engagement. She has been awarded numerous internal grants from OIA, the Drake Institute, and other entities at OSU for her professional development, course design, and research. Danielle was named Outstanding Lecturer in the Department of Sociology in 2021.
