- We are thrilled to announce that Hollie Nyseth Nzitatira has been promoted to Full Professor. Congratulations on this momentous milestone, Hollie!
- Additionally Hollie, along with her coauthor John Gasana Gasasira, received honorable mention for the ASA Crime Law and Deviance article award for their paper "Identities & Interactions: Reentry and Reintegration after Incarceration for Genocide."
- Eric Schoon, Dave Melamed, and Ron Breiger's book, Regression Inside Out (2024, Cambridge University Press), has been awarded the 2025 Harrison White Outstanding Book Award from the Mathematical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association.
- Marquianna Griffin published a paper with colleagues in the College of Public Health and the ROCKWOOL Foundation in Social Science and Medicine entitled, “Macroeconomic antecedents of involuntary psychiatric commitments in Denmark.”
- Sarah Hayford was a guest on WOSU’s All Sides with Amy Juravich's in an episode called "Should the government be enticing Americans to have more babies?"
