Dr. Chris Knoester appeared on “All Sides with Ann Fisher”, Central Ohio's main public media talk show, to talk about his "Patriotism, Competition, Respect for the Military and Nationalism in Sportsresearch amidst the ongoing Olympics and Super Bowl coverage. 


Graduate Student News

Mariah Warner had her first paper accepted for publication: "When Kids Hitting Each Other is Okay: Examining U.S. Adult Support for Youth Tackle Football." The manuscript is forthcoming in Social Currents and she is the lead author on it. She also received a $750 2022-23 OSU Sports and Society Initiative Graduate Student Research Grant for her intentions to study both forms of mistreatment and experiences of racial segregation in sports. Dr. Chris Knoester is a mentor and collaborator on each of these projects.
