Dr. André Christie-Mizell, an Ohio State University Department of Sociology PhD graduate (1997), was recently named vice provost for graduate education and dean of Vanderbilt’s Graduate School. 

Dr. Rachael A. Woldoff, an Ohio State University Department of Sociology PhD graduate (2003), newest book is now available. “Digital Nomads: In Search of Freedom, Community, and Meaningful Work in the New Economy”, explores the lives of so-called “digital nomads” and their efforts to live and work in ways that balance freedom, community, and creative fulfillment in the digital age.
