Davon Norris was recently awarded a Honorable Mention in the highly competitive National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF).

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions. 

Since 1952, NSF has funded over 50,000 Graduate Research Fellowships out of more than 500,000 applicants. Norris received this recognition out of a pool of over 13,000 applicants last year. The Department would like to congratulate Davon on his award, and we look forward to his future contributions.
