Vincent Roscigno, Arts and Sciences Distinguished Professor in the Department of Sociology, is a recipient of the 2026 Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award from the American Sociological Association. Nominators praised his commitment to “sustained, research informed, and inclusive teaching leadership” and his “field level contributions to sociology teaching through scholarly leadership and resource development, particularly in relation to first-generation and working-class students.”
