3 NSF dissertation grants awarded!
3 PhD students received NSF grants in support of their dissertation research. Congratulations to Lindsey Ibanez, Matt Stearmer and Jill Yavorsky for their fine work!!!
- We are very pleased to announce that Lindsey Ibanez received an NSF grant to support her dissertation, “Finding Work Where Work is Scarce: Personal Contacts and Employment Opportunities in a Less-Developed Country.” Kammi Schmeer and Steve Lopez are Lindsey’s co-advisors. Congratulations, Lindsey!!!
- We are also very pleased that Matt Stearmer has received an NSF grant to support his dissertation, “Nationalism, Violence and Organization in the Age of Migration and the Internet: Hyperlink Analysis of Kurdish Organizations.” Matt’s advisor is Craig Jenkins. Congratulations, Matt!!!
